About 50 events will be held in Kirov for Russia Day: sports tournaments, concerts and festivals.

      On the eve of Russia Day, on June 11, a ceremony honoring gifted children "Pride of Vyatka – 2025" (0+) will be held at the Cosmos Recreation Center. On the same day, a football tournament will be held in the Novovyatsky district between the labor collectives of enterprises and residents (0+) — the initiative came from one of the district's companies and was supported by the territorial administration. The competition will be held at the Rossiya Stadium.

      The main festive events are scheduled for June 12. The central venue will traditionally be the Theater Square. The morning will start with a mass charge (0+), during which the organizers plan to set a new record for the number of participants. Then there will be a solemn ceremony with the performance of the anthem and unfurling of the Russian flag (0+), as well as the presentation of passports to young citizens (0+).

      On Oktyabrsky Prospekt, from 10:00 to 15:00, the Kirov kart championship and championship "Asphalt Ring" (0+), as well as duathlon competitions will be held (0+).

      Kirov Park will become a venue for several events at once: the TRP festival will be held in the sports zone (0+), and a cover band with popular hits will perform in the amphitheater (0+).

      From 10:00 to 19:00, the bell ringing festival will be held on Spasskaya Square (0+). Programs have also been prepared in Alexander Garden, Kochurovsky Park, Victory Park and Yuri Gagarin Park (0+). Walking tours of seven streets of the city (0+) will be organized during the day.

      In addition, festivals of children's creativity (0+), Friendship of peoples (0+) and various workshops (0+) will be held.

      Pedestrian Spasskaya Street will be open to guests throughout the weekend. On June 12, the Craft Pantry fair (0+), performances by creative teams (0+) and the Vyatka Arbat interactive program (0+) will take place here.

      Festive events will continue on June 13 and 14. A science festival will be held in Apollo Park (0+), and a five-hour music festival (0+) will be held on Theater Square. A concert dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Novovyatsk (0+) is planned in Novovyatsky Square.

      The Organizing Committee for preparations for Russia Day recommended that the territorial administrations pay special attention to the improvement of public territories: to put flower beds, lawns and footpaths in order. Security at the events will be provided by police and Rosgvardiya officers.
