Kirov residents were restricted from staying in forests
According to the regional government, the decree approving the special fire protection regime was signed by Chairman of the regional government Mikhail Sandalov.
The Ministry of Forestry noted that for the duration of this regime, citizens are limited to staying in forests, making bonfires, and carrying out work using fire in forests and adjacent territories: at a distance of 20 meters from the forest. It is also prohibited to enter forests by vehicles and harvest wood, except for performing fire-fighting, sanitary and health measures.
The regional government noted that for the period of the introduction of a special fire protection regime, Kirov residents have the right to travel along public roads, to health-improving organizations, children's camps, recreation areas, tourist bases and on the territory of horticultural associations.
