More than 4 thousand Kirov residents have prematurely retired due to their long work experience

      Residents of the Kirov region have the opportunity to retire early if their insurance record is 37 years or more for women and 42 years for men. In 2025, the Department of the Social Fund of Russia for the Kirov region awarded pensions for long-term work experience to 282 citizens of the region. Since the introduction of the law on early retirement in the region, 4,283 Kirov residents have already been awarded pensions during this period.

      At the same time, only the periods for which insurance premiums were paid are taken into account in calculating the length of service for early retirement. Non-insurance periods, such as caring for a child up to one and a half years old, caring for the elderly or receiving unemployment benefits, are not taken into account.

      Special attention is paid to military service and participation in a special military operation. Conscription service in the army is counted in the length of service on a calendar basis, and participation in the military increases the length of service twice.

      Kirov residents can check their work experience through their personal account on the Public Services portal, as well as in the MFC or client services of the Department of the Social Fund of Russia in the Kirov region.
