The State Duma supported criminal liability for droppers

      According to the bill, an article on the illegal circulation of funds of payments will apply to droppers. Vyacheslav Volodin, Vice Speaker of the State Duma, clarified that the introduction of punishment would reduce the possibilities for "laundering" funds obtained illegally, including through fraud.

      For transferring bank cards to other persons out of self-interest, a fine in the amount of 100 to 300 thousand rubles will be imposed, as well as possible imprisonment for up to two years or three years of forced labor. The commission of "illegal transactions using an electronic means of payment, committed by a person who is not a customer of the bank," the maximum penalty will be imprisonment for up to six years, writes "Газета.ги ".
