According to the Bank of Russia, consumer prices in the Kirov region increased by 0.58% in April. Annual inflation reached 11.54%. This is more than the average for Russia (10.23%).
Food products rose the most in April. The price increase was 1.08% for the month. The prices of butter and fats increased especially noticeably — by 3.06%, dairy products — by 2.26%, cheese — by 1.59%. Meat products rose in price by 1.14%, and confectionery products — by 0.8%. At the same time, eggs fell by 6.98%.
Non—food products showed a moderate price increase of 0.2% over the month. Detergents rose the most by 1.91%, perfumes and cosmetics by 0.85%, and medical products by 0.72%. Some goods have become cheaper: computers, televisions, and so on.
Services continued to rise in price, their cost increased by 0.36% in a month. Sanatorium and wellness services rose the most — by 4.14%, medical services — by 2.07%, passenger transport services — by 1.56%. At the same time, foreign tourism services fell in price by 1.97%.
