Emergency repair work has been completed on the bridge over the Moloma River on 525+500 km of the Kostroma—Perm highway, which cracked at the end of April due to passing trucks. Tomorrow, on May 28, traffic on the bridge will be open for all types of transport with a lifting capacity of up to 25 tons from 08:00. Anatoly Dashkevich, head of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Prikamye Federal Highway Administration", clarified that reverse traffic will be installed.
Alexey Zherdev, the first deputy chairman of the government of the Kirov region, together with the leadership of the Federal State Institution Updor Prikamye, went to the bridge and thanked the workers for their work. According to Zherdev, the specialists raised the collapsed span of the bridge to its design position: to do this, they created a concrete platform under the bridge, installed jacks, and then replaced the sagging bridge parts with new ones. This was reported in the government of the Kirov region.
