Kirov residents are asked to report rotten trees

      The management company of the Kirov region explained that the responsibility for the timely identification and elimination of dangerous trees lies with the management company. "The responsibility of the management company is to ensure the safety of citizens and, in case of emergency trees, to take measures to demolish them," said Alyona Dudnikova, head of the GJI region. She also said that the responsibilities of the Criminal Code include regular inspection of green spaces, detecting signs of diseases, rot, dead wood and other damage that can lead to the fall of a tree or its parts.

      If an emergency tree is found on the territory adjacent to the house, the management company should promptly organize its examination: specialists will confirm the danger of the tree and develop a plan for its safe removal.

      If an emergency tree is found in the yard, residents of the house should contact their management company — in writing or through the official website — indicating the exact address, location of the tree and a description of the signs of its emergency: trunk crack, tilt, rotting wood, etc.

      In case of inaction of the Criminal Code, a dangerous tree should be reported to the "hotline" of the State Housing Inspectorate or to the GJI post office: [email protected] with an attachment of supporting photos.
