A quarter of Kirov residents support the adoption of a law on the admission to public service of only those men who have served in the army.

The idea of admitting only men who have served in the army to public service is being actively discussed in society. 25% of Kirov residents support the adoption of a law regulating such an order. 52% of the city's residents, on the contrary, disagree with the proposal.

According to local residents, those who have left the army should not be allowed close to the civil service, while others note that professional qualities are more important.: "What does the army have to do with it? We need honest and responsible people with education."

Interestingly, there are about equal numbers of men and women who agree with the law, but there are more opponents among men. In addition, the older Kirov residents are, the closer this idea is to them (33% of respondents over the age of 45 welcome the initiative, and among those who are younger, there are no more than 24%).

With increasing income levels, the number of voices in support of the opinion that public service is not for everyone is growing: for the adoption of the law - 35% of Kirov residents with an income of 100 thousand rubles and only one in four, whose earnings are more than 50 thousand rubles (25%).

By the way, those who have served are the most categorical — 57% are sure that admission to civil service should be only after the army. Only 12% of those who did not serve agree with this.
