Oleg Valenchuk: Our youth have worthy examples

      This sporting event, which brought together more than 300 young athletes (18 teams) from the Perm Region, Udmurtia, Tatarstan and the Kirov region, became a real celebration of strength, sports spirit and patriotism.

      Oleg Valenchuk, Deputy of the State Duma, President of the Judo Federation of the Kirov region, greeted the participants of the competition.

      – Children need to be told about the exploits of heroes not only in schools, but also at sports competitions, – Oleg Valenchuk noted. – Our youth have worthy examples. And the participants of the tournament dream of becoming worthy of the memory of our countrymen. Judo is a sport practiced by our President Vladimir Putin. Looking at him, boys and girls strive to become strong and dexterous, while simultaneously comprehending the philosophy and wisdom of martial arts. I thank the parents and coaches for giving the younger generation the right life guidelines.

      The national flag of the Russian Federation was raised by the champion of Russia 2024-2025 in judo (sport LIN), master of sports Abram Zhukov. Then the participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen soldiers and home front workers of the Vyatskopolyansky Machine-Building Plant, who made their invaluable contribution to the overall Victory.

      The girls and boys showed not only high skill, but also respect for their rivals. The exciting dynamic duels kept both the participants and the numerous spectators in suspense, including coaches, parents of athletes and just judo fans. Their walls and fans helped the representatives of the Vyatskopolyanka judo school from Vyatskiye Polyany, Sosnovka, village to perform well. Krasnaya Polyana, d. Smoke-Smoke Omga under the guidance of experienced coaches Yu.A. Panagushin, S.P. Dugaev, I.A. Simonov.

      Also, following the results of the competition, the results of the Kirov Region Judo Cup among boys under 13 were summed up. The winners here are determined by the total points scored at the official regional starts, depending on the place occupied.

      The best in their weight categories were:

      – up to 31 kg. – Makar Suslov (Kirovo-Chepetsk); – up to 34 kg. – Savely Agafonov (Kirovo-Chepetsk); – up to 38 kg. – Vyacheslav Trushnikov (Kirovo-Chepetsk); – up to 42 kg. – Ilya Klimov (Kirov);– up to 46 kg. – Philip Loginov (Urzhum);– up to 50 kg. – Matvey Merinov (Sovetsk);– up to 55 kg. – Semyon Kolpakov (Kirovo-Chepetsk);– up to 60 kg. – Fayzrakhmanov Iskander (Urzhum); – up to 66 kg. – Lozhkarev Arseniy (Sovetsk); – over 66 kg. – Razumov Stepan (Sovetsk).

      The winners of the Cup were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts from Oleg Valenchuk, Deputy of the State Duma, President of the Judo Federation of the Kirov region.
