The prosecutor appealed to the court with a statement of claim to recover compensation for moral damage from the municipal authorities. As a result, 600 thousand rubles were recovered from the Kirov administration in favor of the child.
In addition, earlier, the Novovyatsky district prosecutor's office supported in court the state prosecution in a criminal case against an official of the regional administration for the Novovyatsky district of the Kirov city administration, the head of the landscaping department. He was found guilty under Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence). The official was inactive and did not take timely measures to organize the dismantling of playground equipment, which posed a threat to the life and health of children. By a court decision, the official was given a criminal law measure in the form of a fine of 40 thousand rubles.
