On January 1, a 43-year-old resident of the Kiknur district, being drunk, drove a Kia Sid through the streets of the village of Kiknur. At some point, he was detained by police officers.
When checking the identity of the violator, it turned out that the man had previously been brought to administrative responsibility for drunk driving. Then he was deprived of the right to drive a car.
This time, he was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving under the influence of a person who has been subjected to administrative punishment or has a criminal record). The court agreed with the prosecutor's opinion and sentenced the violator to a fine of 100,000 rubles with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for three years.
In addition, the court applied the provisions of Article 104.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (confiscation of property), making the offender's car the property of the state.
