On the night of May 11-12, an apartment building caught fire on Rechnaya Street in Kotelnich. Local residents, having seen the flames, called the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
After the fire was contained, rescuers found the body of the 46-year-old landlady at the scene. According to the regional investigative committee, the cause of the fire could be careless handling of fire while smoking.
The Kotelnichi interdistrict investigative Department of the SU IC of Russia in the Kirov region is conducting a pre-investigation check on the death of a woman. The investigator examined the scene, and now all the circumstances of the incident are being established. Upon completion of the inspection, a procedural decision will be made.
