State Labor Inspectorate found out why a worker was injured in Sovetsk

      The State Labor Inspectorate of the Kirov region has completed its own investigation into an accident that occurred on March 24, 2025 with a 58-year-old auxiliary worker of one of the sole proprietors in the Sovetsky district of the Kirov region.

      The investigation revealed that a worker had fallen onto the tracks that day, causing the man to suffer multiple fractures. According to the medical report, the injuries are classified as severe. The ministry noted that the causes of this emergency were the deterioration of the victim's well-being, the unsatisfactory condition of the workshop floors, as well as shortcomings in the creation and functioning of the occupational safety management system at the sole proprietor.

      Loginov, deputy Head of the State Labor Inspectorate of the region, noted that additionally, during the study of the investigation materials, violations were identified that did not cause an accident, but indicated a deviation from state regulatory requirements in the field of occupational safety, including the provision of the injured employee with personal protective equipment in full, as well as violations of the mandatory medical examination.

      Officials have been brought to administrative responsibility for the incident.
