
The Central Bank has issued a commemorative coin
As reported on the regulator's website, the Order of St. Alexander Nevsky is the third order that was established in the Russian Empire. The Order of Alexander Nevsky is unique: it existed in both the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union and has been preserved in the award system of Russia to this day.
The silver coin has a face value of 3 rubles. The weight of the precious metal in its pure form is 31.1 grams, the alloy sample is 925. The coin's diameter is 39 mm. There is a protruding edge around the circumference of the obverse and reverse sides of the coin.
On the obverse side of the coin there is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, there are inscriptions "Russian Federation", "Bank of Russia", coin face value "3 rubles", date "2025", metal designation according to the Periodic Table of Elements, alloy sample, trademark of the St. Petersburg Mint and the mass of the precious metal in purity.
On the reverse side of the coin there are relief and color images of the badge of the Order of St. Alexander Nevsky, the star of the Order and a folded ribbon against the background of a laser—matted image of a fragment of the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra. At the bottom, around the circumference, there is an inscription "Establishment of the Order of St. Alexander Nevsky", and above it — "1725".
