Schoolchildren from Monastyrskaya no longer have to walk through the forest with dogs to the bus stop

For more than 5 years, residents of the village of Monastyrskaya could not get the school bus to resume operation. He "existed", but did not enter the village because of the bad road, the lack of a place to turn around and stop. The children had to walk a kilometer in one direction to the bus stop. At the same time, there are no sidewalks or lighting on the way. But there is a forest and a lot of stray dogs.

Those with cars organized shifts — they picked up not only their children from school, but also neighbors, and those who got there on foot were met by elderly people in the evening in the neighboring village of Sosnovy.

For five years, residents have repeatedly contacted the Kirov administration. They were told that there was no money for repairs. Then desperate people turned to the Kirov branch of the All-Russian Popular Front for help. Public activists saw a violation of the rights of local residents and sent an appeal to the prosecutor's office, which ordered the city administration to solve the problem of bringing children. By the way, the governor of the region also took control of the situation.

According to the head of the regional department of the ONF, Valeria Cheremisinova, the road through the forest was sealed off. In addition, a public transport stop was organized, and the place where the bus turned was filled with rubble. Since the end of last year, the school bus has been picking up students and taking them to school.
