A 65-year-old man living in an apartment building on Militia Street in Kirov turned to the Pervomaisky district prosecutor's office for help. He complained about the illegal actions of the Criminal Code in charging him for the overhaul of an apartment owned by the municipality. During the verification, the information was confirmed. It turned out that for three years, the repair fee was charged both from the Kirov administration and from those who live in municipal housing. In this regard, the prosecutor submitted a submission to the head of the Criminal Code, following which the accountant of the housing and communal services organization was brought to disciplinary responsibility. Violations of the law have now been eliminated. The unreasonably withheld money was returned to the pensioner.
