A resident of Kotelnich found the mutilated corpse of a tenant in his apartment

      The Kotelnichi police department received information about the discovery of a corpse in one of the apartments in the city. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kirov region, a man came to check the apartment that a 40-year-old man rented from him and found the body of a dead tenant with numerous injuries.

      Employees of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation "Kotelnichsky" established the circumstances of the death and identified the man involved in the death. It turned out to be a friend of the deceased, a 49—year-old local resident who had previously been convicted of murder.

      It turned out that a few days earlier, the man had come to visit the victim. During the drinking of alcohol, a conflict arose between them, during which the guest beat his friend with his hands, feet and a stool. When the man stopped showing signs of life, the attacker left the crime scene, taking personal belongings and bank cards of the deceased.

      The police located the suspect and detained him. A criminal case has been opened against a resident of Kotelnich under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).
