Famous muralist Zurab Tsereteli has died.
Today, on April 22, it became known about the death of the famous sculptor Zurab Tsereteli. He died in Moscow, at the age of 92. According to RBC with reference to the sculptor's assistant Sergey Shagulashvili, the cause of death of Zurab Konstantinovchia was cardiac arrest.
In 2019, the Vyatka Art Museum named after V.M. and A.M. Vasnetsov opened an exhibition of works by Zurab Tsereteli. The exhibition featured more than 50 artworks and two sculptures. It should be noted that the opening of that exhibition of works by the famous sculptor, People's Artist of the USSR and the Russian Federation Zurab Tsereteli was timed to coincide with the 85th anniversary of the master.
