Yesterday, on April 21, it became known that a criminal case had been opened into the partial collapse of the facade of an apartment building in the village of Polom, Kirovo-Chepetsky district. As reported in the regional investigative committee, the collapse could have occurred due to improper performance of duties by officials of the municipal authorities of the Kirovo-Chepetsky district, who did not take measures to repair the facade and roof of the house in a timely manner. In this regard, a case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code (negligence).
Today, on April 22, Andrey Vinogradov, head of the SU IC of Russia for the Kirov region, held a personal reception for residents of the house on issues related to the incident. During the meeting, he listened to the residents who applied. They told him about the causes of the incident and the conditions that, in their opinion, caused the collapse. People drew Vinogradov's attention to the problems of interaction with representatives of municipal authorities, who for a long time had not taken proper measures to repair the house.
As a result, the head of the regional investigative committee gave his subordinates a number of specific instructions and instructions on carrying out the necessary investigative and procedural actions aimed at establishing the circumstances of the incident. The case was placed under Vinogradov's personal control.
In addition, the head of the TFR appealed to the head of the region and asked for assistance in the speedy restoration of the violated rights of the residents of the house.
