A resident of Kirov saved a colleague in his area

      Igor B., a corporal from the Kirov region, proved himself in the area of his military training, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported. Being in the area of one of the settlements of the DPR, our countryman received a combat mission to evacuate a damaged UAZ car.

      Arriving with the group at the location of the damaged equipment in a Buggy, the Kirov resident secured a steel cable to the UAZ, preparing for its towing. At that moment, he noticed that an enemy drone was approaching them. Our countryman fired several bursts from a Kalashnikov assault rifle at an enemy drone.

      During the fall, the drone exploded, as a result of which one of the servicemen was injured. Realizing the threat of a new attack, the corporal evacuated the wounded comrade by car to a safe place, where he provided him with first aid. After that, he continued to carry out the combat mission.

      "Thanks to the decisive actions and courage of the corporal, the wounded soldier's life was saved, and the damaged car was taken to the starting point for repairs," the Russian Defense Ministry said.
