A new educational cluster of the federal project "Professionalism" will be created on the basis of Vyatka State University College

      Vyatka State University has won a federal grant for the Professionalism project. The funds will be used to create in 2026 the educational and production center "Electrotechnical Industry and Industrial Automation" on the basis of Vyatka State University College.

      "The joint work of the regional Ministry of Education and Vyatka State University has yielded serious results. The Russian Ministry of Education named our region among the winners of the grant selection. I thank the Vyatka State University team, heads of educational organizations, and partner enterprises for their well-coordinated work," said Alexander Sokolov, Governor of the Kirov Region.

      "The main goal of the program is to train highly qualified specialists who are able to work effectively in a rapidly changing market. Thanks to the victory in the Professionalism project, Vyatka State University will have modern workshops and high-tech equipment, and students will be able to obtain sought-after jobs and specialties in a short time," said Vyatka Rector Valentin Pugach.

      The project was supported by the Government of the Kirov region and organizations operating in the real sector of the economy, interested in training specialized specialists, as well as by their active activities and support for the education system of the Kirov region at all levels, demonstrating interest in developing the region's human resources potential. Partner companies will be actively involved in the development and implementation of educational programs, courses and modules, which will allow them to take into account the specifics of their companies. Graduates of these programs will be able to work effectively in rapidly developing technological industries.

      Along with Vyatka State University, the cluster includes such educational organizations as Vyatka Railway College, Vyatka College of Commerce and Industry, Omutninsky College of Pedagogy, Economics and Law, Sloboda College of Pedagogy and Social Relations, Nolinsky College of Agricultural Mechanization, Yaransky College of Technology.
