Novovyatsk is considering launching a non-stop bus route
At a meeting of the Kirov City Duma commission, the situation with the movement of public transport was discussed in the context of the closure of the railway crossing in the Novovyatsky district. According to JSC "Motor Transport Enterprise", the transport continues to run on schedule. Passengers are served by buses on one side of the crossing, and bus No. 46A on the other. There were no schedule violations.
To increase the capacity on the route in the 41st microdistrict, three additional large-class buses were released. Specialists also set up a traffic light at the intersection of Traktovaya Street and the turnoff to the Raduzhny microdistrict in order to reduce congestion and improve access to the southern bypass. Monitoring of the traffic situation continues, and if necessary, the operation of the traffic light will be adjusted.
Among the proposals received from the townspeople is to make the bus route No. 52 non-stop: from the 41st microdistrict through the southern bypass and the Raduzhny microdistrict to another part of the Novovyatsky district. This issue has been referred to the Route Change Commission.
The possibility of launching route No. 16 to the Vyatka Plywood Mill and improving conditions at the new stops of route No. 46A, including the installation of pavilions and the development of pedestrian zones, is also being discussed.
Together with the Ministry of Transport, it is planned to adjust suburban routes in order to increase the accessibility of Novovyatsk during the summer cottage season.
The closure of the crossing is connected with the construction of a tunnel under the Trans-Siberian Railway as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
