Employed Kirov residents are actively looking for a part-time job

      According to the survey results, 47% of residents of the Kirov region are considering part-time jobs in addition to their main place of employment over the next three months. At the end of 2024, 43% said the same thing.

      On the contrary, the share of those who are not interested in finding a part—time job is decreasing: in the fourth quarter of last year it was 44% of respondents, and today it is 39%. At the same time, the share of residents of the region who already have a second job has been fluctuating at the level of 7-8% for more than two years.

      It is noteworthy that applicants from professional fields are most often in need of part-time work: "Art, entertainment, mass media" (60%), "Home, service personnel" (58%), "Sports, beauty salons" and "Science, Education" (56% each), as well as "Tourism, hotels, restaurants" (54%).

      Those who are not interested in part-time work are most often found among respondents from the fields of "Insurance" (63%), "Extraction of raw materials" (49%) and "Senior Management" (46%). At the moment, 13% of respondents from the fields of Art, entertainment, mass Media and Marketing, Advertising, PR, as well as 12% of representatives of science and education, 11% of insurers and 10% of IT specialists can boast of two jobs.
