Leaks were found on Kirov heating systems

On April 7, specialists from the Kirov branch of T Plus began testing heating systems using organic dye. This substance turns the coolant bright green, which makes it possible to quickly detect leaks, illegal taps and malfunctions in hot water supply systems. The dye is safe for health and approved at the state level.

During the first week of inspections conducted from Kirovskaya TPP-5, laboratory staff took water samples at 103 central heating points. As a result, three damages were found on the pipelines and four more cases of the presence of dye in the system, which indicates a violation of the tightness of the equipment. All identified defects were promptly eliminated.

In addition, a complaint was received from residents of the house on Levitan Street, 1 — the hot water turned green. It turned out that the cause was a defect in the heating unit of the house. Currently, the water heaters are turned off, and repairs are being carried out by specialists from the management company.

On April 14, similar tests began in the northern part of the city — on heating networks from CHP-4. Power engineers ask Kirov residents to report any changes in the color of hot water to the management company, to the Thermal Information Service by phone 744-901 or on the portal.
