Over the past week, in the Kirov region, the Ministry of Emergency Situations had to go out to extinguish the fire 27 times. During these incidents, 17 people were rescued and taken out of danger zones. Unfortunately, there were casualties: two people died in the fire, four more were injured.
One of the serious fires occurred on April 9 in the village of Novotroitskoye, Shabalinsky district. A house consisting of two apartments caught fire there. The fire destroyed outbuildings and the roof of the house, severely damaged the walls of both apartments. The woman suffered burns and was taken to the hospital. It is assumed that the cause was faulty wiring in the sheds.
On April 11, a fire broke out in an apartment on Khimicheskiy Lane in Kirov. The suspended ceiling melted and things in one of the rooms burned down. The man inhaled smoke, but they did not take him to the hospital. The probable cause is a short circuit.
The tragedy occurred on April 12 on Gorky Street in the regional center. During the fire in the apartment, the walls, floor and ceiling in the hallway were burned, smoke filled the entire entrance. Firefighters found an unconscious man and a dead woman in a burning apartment. The victim was handed over to doctors, but later he also died. Rescuers took another man off the fourth—floor balcony with the help of a sliding ladder - he could not get out himself because of the heavy smoke. The cause of this fire is still being investigated.
On the same day, a fire broke out in an industrial building at the Prosnitsa railway station in the Kirovo-Chepetsky district. The roof and ceiling burned down, the fire damaged the Ford Transit car. The young man suffered burns and was treated on the spot. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
On April 13, the attic of a private house caught fire in the Kirovsky Raduzhny microdistrict. The fire damaged the wall and roof rafters above the garage. It is believed that the fire could have started due to problems with electrical equipment.
