Investigators are establishing the circumstances of the deaths of two people in a fire in Kirov.

      Investigators of the Leninsky district of Kirov are conducting a preliminary investigation into the death of two people as a result of a fire that occurred on the afternoon of April 12 in one of the apartments on Gorky Street.

      According to preliminary data, the fire occurred in an apartment on the second floor of house No. 46. After rescuers localized the fire, they saw the body of a 67-year-old woman inside. A 65-year-old man was also evacuated from the scene, who later died in an ambulance.

      Investigators conducted an inspection at the scene. Forensic medical and fire-technical examinations have been appointed. Other investigative and procedural actions are underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident. A procedural decision will be made based on the results of the audit.
