Reconstruction was resumed on Rudnitsky Street in Kirov after the death of a woman

      In Kirov, work resumed on the reconstruction of Rudnitsky Street, which is the only entrance to houses in the private sector. Earlier, the road became the focus of attention after a tragic accident — an ambulance could not reach a stroke patient, and the woman had to be carried on a stretcher through the mud. She passed away on the way.

      The work at the facility is being carried out by the contractor JSC "Gordormoststroy" within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". Last year, a road, sidewalks, storm sewers and lighting were built on a 250-meter-long site.

      According to the organization, preparations are underway for the installation of storm water utilities. After that, if the weather is favorable, the formation of a sand-gravel base and the laying of two layers of asphalt will begin. It is also planned to equip pedestrian zones, lawns and lighting. The project provides for a two-way carriageway and two-meter-wide sidewalks. They will make exits to the surrounding territories, which are not available now, which greatly burdens the lives of residents of private homes.

      The reconstruction is scheduled to be fully completed in July this year.

      Meanwhile, we recall that after the tragic incident, the Investigative Committee of Russia began checking. Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the Kirov department to report on the results. The situation is under special control.
