In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, 24 social projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the older generation and preserving historical memory will be implemented in 18 municipalities of the Kirov region.

The project is being carried out on the initiative of State Duma Deputy Rahim Azimov and the Kirov Society Znanie. The total grant fund this year amounted to more than 2 million rubles.
A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition took place in Kirov today. Rahim Azimov congratulated the participants and noted that throughout the seven-year history of the Silver Constellation, there has been a high interest
in the competition: "Our competition unites generations! The projects of the winners not only preserve the memory of the heroic deed of our people, they involve the participation and joint work of youth and veterans. The experience and wisdom of the older generation are combined with the energy of the younger generation. I thank all the winners for their creative approach and wish them success in implementing their plans!"

Natalia Shedko, Chairman of the Board of the Kirov Regional Organization Znanie, emphasized that the Silver Constellation competition provides an opportunity for active and caring people to bring their ideas to life:
"This project is a great opportunity to take the initiative and create interesting social practices. Many participants started with our competition and later became winners of regional and federal grant programs."
