      Mikhail Skokov, Minister of Construction of the Kirov Region, representatives of the Unified Customer Service and the Prosecutor's Office visited the construction site of 55 Trade Union Street school (Sheveli Sloboda) Kirov. The school is being built as part of the national Youth and Children project and will accommodate 1,606 students. 

      To date, the facility is 96% ready. The contractor completes the decoration of the premises, landscaping and undertakes to hand over the school in mid-May.

      — This school has a positive conclusion issued by the Department of State Expertise and Pricing in Construction of the Kirov region, both on the technical side and on the reliable estimated cost, — said Mikhail Skokov.

      We should add that in 2024, two schools with a total capacity of 2,600 places were built in Kirov (a school for 1,100 students on Mostovitskaya Street, a school for 1,500 students in the Urvantsevo microdistrict).

      Currently, within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children" in Kirov, the construction of six more educational institutions with a total capacity of more than 7,000 places and one more for 1,100 places in the Village of Kurochkiny continues at the expense of the regional budget.
