Vyatka State University student: "A targeted tuition agreement is a huge plus"
Eliza Sysoltseva, a second–year student, receives a pedagogical education at Vyatka State University with two training profiles - mathematics and a methodologist in educational work.
"I chose pedagogy because of my teachers. The teacher of Russian and literature at school was so "burned" by pedagogy that she infected me too. My math teacher is a strict teacher and a very good person, and I wanted to take an example from her. But I didn't want to be a teacher of one subject. Fortunately, Vyatka now has the opportunity to choose completely different and seemingly incompatible profiles. At the open day, they talked about the intense student life – there was a great desire to immerse yourself in this world as soon as possible."
Eliza Sysoltseva enrolled at the university according to the target quota. He says that making this important decision was not easy.
"I consulted with teachers and friends who study under the target agreement. Self-doubt weighed heavily. Now, as a second–year student, I can say with confidence that a targeted tuition agreement is a huge plus. I am awarded a scholarship for a successfully completed session. I chose the school I want to work at, so I enjoy my internship very much."
Since the second year, Eliza has been working as a mathematics teacher at MBOU Secondary School No. 11. According to the girl, the management of the educational institution is meeting the young teacher halfway, so the student calmly combines her studies and work activities.
"The staff at the school is very friendly, they always help me. I have a mentor that I can turn to in any situation. I chose my own class, which won my heart in the process of our acquaintance. Fifth graders are very young, with kind eyes, clumsy handwriting and a great desire to learn. Sometimes it feels like not only am I teaching them, but they are also teaching me."
Eliza notes that combining study and work helps to assimilate lecture material much faster and better, and practical tasks do not cause difficulties.
"I really like studying! Classes at the university are interesting: we prepare reports, skits, go on excursions. Participation in various events makes student life vibrant. It's just a pity there are only 24 hours in a day."Marshal of the Soviet Union Ivan Konev knew how to respect the enemies of Vyatka.
