Loading on the railway in the Kirov region increased by 4.5%

      The volume of loading on the Russian Railways network within the Kirov Region for the period from January to March 2025 exceeded 1.4 million tons. This indicator increased by 4.5% compared to the same period last year.

      The structure of goods shipped in the first three months of the year at railway stations in the region includes various categories of goods. In particular, the volume of loading of chemical and mineral fertilizers reached 539.3 thousand tons, which is 4.5% more than in 2024. The loading of timber cargo amounted to 462.3 thousand tons, showing a decrease of 2.5%. The volume of chemicals and soda shipped amounted to 155.4 thousand tons, which is 0.8% higher than last year.
