      Today, on April 3, during a meeting of the regional organizing committee for preparations for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Governor Alexander Sokolov instructed to pay special attention to the monument "Winners" in Yaransk. Recall that for three million, the contractor had to repair the "Winners", equip pedestrian paths and make lighting in Victory Park by August. But the contractor missed the deadline, and the last time the workers were seen at the site was in October.

      The government's press service added that the repair was carried out by a contractor from another region. At the moment, claims work is underway with her. Substandard and unfinished work has not been paid for, and until the contractor fulfills its obligations, it will not receive the money. At the moment, the organization fixes the shortcomings at its own expense.

      According to the head of Yaransk, Vladimir Zhirov, the memorial will be repaired by April 20. Denis Ikonnikov, Minister of Internal Policy of the Kirov region, noted that if the work is suspended, the city administration will terminate the contract unilaterally, and the local construction team will eliminate the shortcomings.
