For Kirov beneficiaries, they made a "smart ride" on suburban trains

      Starting from April 1, residents of the Kirov region who have the right to preferential commuter rail travel will be able to pay for trips using Mir bank cards. The innovation was implemented thanks to the introduction of the Smart Travel service.

      The service allows you to pay for discounted travel on suburban trains of JSC Volga-Vyatka Suburban Passenger Company. It operates on routes connecting Kirov with Shakhunya, Shabalino, Balezino, as well as on the Kirov — Luza — Podosinovets route.

      To pay for the ride, it is enough for the passenger to attach his Mir card to a special terminal located in the train carriage. The system automatically detects whether a passenger has a confirmed right to a benefit and deducts the corresponding fare, after which a ticket is issued. The amount actually debited can be verified using the QR code printed on the ticket.
