Residents of Rudnitsky Street faced an impassable road

Five families living in houses No. 47 and No. 49 on Rudnitsky Street in Kirov are experiencing serious difficulties with access to their housing. The only dirt access road to their homes is now in terrible condition.

Recently, the condition of the road has deteriorated significantly, the track depth in some places reaches 40 centimeters, which makes it almost impossible for vehicles to travel. Pedestrians have to bring a change of shoes to get to shops or pharmacies.

The situation raises serious concerns about the arrival of emergency services. On March 2, due to the inability of an ambulance to reach the house, an elderly woman with a stroke had to be carried to the car on a stretcher. The loss of time aggravated the situation, and the patient died.

About a year ago, a representative of the Kirov administration made a promise to monitor the condition of the roadway, but it was not fulfilled. The current condition of the road indicates a lack of proper attention from responsible city services.

Residents turned to the regional branch of the Popular Front for help. Representatives of the organization explained that responsibility for the maintenance of the road is assigned to the Kirov administration, which has the ability to solve the problem, for example, by pouring rubble, laying concrete slabs or regular grading. The Popular Front regarded the situation as a violation of citizens' rights and sent an appeal to the prosecutor's office.
