According to the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Kirov region, the agency has amended the orders on the introduction of quarantine phytosanitary regimes and the establishment of quarantine phytosanitary zones for the quarantine facility — golden potato nematode.
In the Kirov region, the area of quarantine phytosanitary zones for potato nematode increased by 762 hectares. Currently, the total area of such zones is 1,060 hectares. An increase in the area of quarantine zones occurred in Kirovo-Chepetsky, Kotelnichsky and Slobodsky districts.
As explained in the department, quarantine phytosanitary regimes are aimed at the timely localization of foci and the exclusion of the spread of the quarantine facility.
