Over the weekend, traffic police officers detained 28 drivers who were driving under the influence of alcohol or refused a medical examination.
The department also reported that during the specified period, five accidents occurred on the roads of the region, in which one person was killed and seven were injured. In Kirov, one person was killed and four injured as a result of road accidents.
In total, over the weekend, traffic police officers stopped 947 violations of traffic rules. 42 cases concerned the management of transport by drivers who do not have rights or are deprived of them.
