A pensioner was detained in Kirov for stealing whiskey

      At about five o'clock in the evening, an alarm signal from a grocery store was received at the department security desk. The Russian guardsmen who arrived at the scene detained a man who was trying to take out a bottle of whiskey, the press service of the Rosgvardiya Administration reports.

      As it turned out during the inspection, the detainee had previously been prosecuted for petty theft and was wanted on suspicion of committing a crime under Article 158 of the Criminal Code (theft).

      The suspect was handed over to the police for further investigation. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
