      The causes of the incident are the felling of a tree without prior preparation of the cutting area, the failure of responsible persons to monitor compliance with safety requirements, as well as the admission of an assistant woodcutter to logging operations without training and testing knowledge of labor protection. In addition, the failure to assess occupational risks at the workplace of the forest assistant was established, violations were identified regarding the provision of personal protective equipment for the victim and the development of appropriate standards.

      According to Alexey Loginov, deputy head of the State Labor Inspectorate, the employer has been issued an order to conduct an occupational risk assessment at the workplace of a woodcutter's assistant and other labor protection measures, as well as to approve the H-1 Certificate.
