Gas was brought to the Kumen goats

      A livestock complex engaged in the breeding of small cattle was switched to gas in Kumeni, the regional government reported. Previously, the farm, the dairy and milking unit and the building for raising goats were heated with firewood, which created difficulties and inconveniences.

      The farm said that the livestock complex contains more than 1,300 heads of a dairy herd of goats with milk production of 350 tons per year. The total number of goats is about 3 thousand animals and more than 200 sheep. "Warmth is especially important for little goats and lambs. Drinking water for them needs to be heated, it is necessary for the health and full development of animals. Switching to gas will ensure reliable and comfortable heating of the complex and constant temperature control," the goat farm said.
