
Andrey Veprev, the author of the digital planetarium project, has died.
The Kirov Museum of K.E. Tsiolkovsky, Aviation and Cosmonautics expressed its deep condolences to the family and friends of Andrei Veprev, a friend and comrade of the museum, who passed away.
Veprev was a participant in the first Tsiolkovsky youth readings in 1989, the author and developer of the digital planetarium project and the unique functional conference hall of the V.P. Savin Space Center. Thanks to him, the planetarium was upgraded in 2023.
Andrey Yurievich also led the Aspect-Networks digital infrastructure department. He was awarded a certificate of honor from the governor in 2024, a letter of thanks from the Legislative Assembly in 2015 and a letter of thanks from the Kirov administration in 2010. The museum staff emphasized Veprev's invaluable contribution to the development of the institution and noted his professionalism, decency, enthusiasm, dedication and willingness to help.
