There is a half-dismantled Christmas tree on the Theater Square.

In Kirov, in early March, the dismantling of New Year's decorations on the Theater Square began. Despite a request to the city administration for exact dates, no official comments were received. However, on March 6, the townspeople noticed workers removing garlands from the main Christmas tree. Sources in the mayor's office unofficially confirmed the start of dismantling work. By that time, the figures of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden had already disappeared from the square, but the Christmas tree and the full house of congratulations were still in place.

On March 10, having apparently taken a break to celebrate International Women's Day, the workers began to disassemble the Christmas tree. So, today Kirov residents can observe how it slowly "disappears" from the bottom up.
