Kirovenergo goes into high-alert mode

      The Kirenergo company has entered a high-alert mode due to the predicted deterioration of weather conditions. The Russian Hydrometeorological Center warns of heavy snow, rain, blizzard and wind with gusts up to 17 m/s, which are expected today in some areas of the Kirov region.

      215 power engineering teams and 335 units of special equipment have been prepared for rapid response to the possible consequences of bad weather. The company has backup power sources at its disposal, which can be used to provide electricity to socially significant facilities in the region.

      Special control over the functioning of power facilities has been established, and continuous monitoring of the meteorological situation is underway.
