After a fatal accident, the Raduzhnoye automobile farm wants to be held accountable

      The State Labor Inspectorate of the Kirov region has completed an investigation into an accident that occurred on October 23, 2023 with a 59-year-old driver of LLC Automobile Farm Raduzhnoye. The tragedy occurred on the 55th kilometer of the Yaransk - Kiknur highway — the border of the Nizhny Novgorod region in the Kiknursky district.

      It turned out that a Kamaz truck with a semi-trailer belonging to Raduzhny drove into the oncoming lane, provoking a collision with a MAN car. Both drivers died on the spot. The State Labor Inspectorate believes that the cause of the accident was a violation of traffic rules by the driver of the Kamaz.

      The deputy head of the State Labor Inspectorate stressed that the investigation revealed shortcomings in the occupational safety management system at the Raduzhnoye enterprise. Violations were found in the passage of mandatory medical examinations and the driver's admission to work without the necessary training and knowledge testing on labor protection. The issue of bringing a legal entity and responsible officials to administrative responsibility is being considered. The investigation materials were sent to the Social Fund of Russia to make payments to the family of the deceased employee.
