During the period from 06:00 on February 28 to 06:00 on March 01, firefighters and rescuers of the Kirov region recorded five fires. Three of them occurred in the city of Kirov. In particular, rescuers went out to extinguish a fire in an open area along Oktyabrskaya Street, in a sauna in the village of Basharovo and in a garage in Sredny Lane.
Two more fires occurred outside Kirov: in a bathhouse in the village of Nema and in a semi-detached apartment building in the village of Shestakovo, Slobodsky district. It took the greatest efforts to eliminate the consequences of a fire in an apartment building — 12 people and 3 pieces of equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In total, 40 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and 11 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing fires.
In addition to the fires, one traffic accident has been registered over the past day.
