In the Kirov region, the new school year has begun. Festive ceremonies took place in all 401 schools in the region, which, according to government data, were fully prepared to receive children. Special attention today is given to first-graders. This year, there are more than 11,000 of them. Their school year began with the first bell and meeting their teachers, and in total, 10,000 educators will be passing on knowledge to the students. In the run-up to September 1, security systems in educational institutions in the region were checked. As reported by the regional government, specialists tested the operation of alert and evacuation management systems, security alarms, and video surveillance cameras. All engineering and technical security measures were deemed operational.
