Salaries for kindergarten workers will be increased, but only after a year.
The authorities of the Kirov region promised to increase the salaries of school teachers to the minimum wage established in Russia starting from January 1, 2027. They will rise from 18,000 to 31,000 rubles. Officials claim that this will not be done at the expense of existing additional payments.
In addition, a similar salary increase is expected for kindergarten teachers, as well as educators in technical schools, colleges, and additional education institutions. However, they will start receiving increased salaries not from January, but from August 1, 2027, which is about a year later.
