Depositors of the cooperative "Business and Money" met with the authorities.
The Chairman of the Government, Mikhail Sandalov, reported that the initiative group of shareholders has gathered more than 100 questions, to which various agencies have prepared responses. Employees of the Internal Affairs Directorate informed the investors that more than 70 investigators are working on the cooperative's case — all witnesses and participants of the cooperative will be interviewed. Currently, the property and accounts of the cooperative and its management apparatus have been seized.
Those gathered were interested in what other actions they need to take to protect their rights, where to turn, and where to get consultations. Many asked about the bankruptcy process of the cooperative and the recovery of funds in favor of creditors. Questions were answered by specialists from the Internal Affairs Directorate, the prosecutor's office, and the Kirov branch of the Bank of Russia.
With the assistance of the regional government, free legal consultation has been organized for the shareholders. Affected investors can contact the state legal bureau at 27-27-54 (ext. 5426).
