In the Kirov region, the production of textiles has increased, while the production of medicines, furniture, and clothing has decreased.

      The agency reported that from January to July of the current year, compared to the same period last year, the output of products from manufacturing organizations increased by 7.5%. The volume of services provided by water supply, wastewater, waste collection and disposal, and pollution elimination organizations increased by 4.4%, while the supply of electricity, gas, and steam increased by 2.4%.

      In the manufacturing sector, there was a significant growth of 2.5 times in the production of textile products. The production of metal products (excluding machinery and equipment) increased by 35.1%. The production of other vehicles and equipment increased by 20.3%, paper and paper products by 6.8%, food products by 5.1%, and chemical substances and chemical products by 0.5%.

      In certain types of economic activities, Kirovstat noted a decrease in production volumes compared to the same period in 2025. The production of pharmaceuticals and materials used for medical and veterinary purposes, motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, leather and leather products, electrical equipment, metallurgical products, furniture, clothing, rubber and plastic products, and beverages decreased.
