In Kirov, the court proceedings regarding the criminal case of involving a minor in systematic alcohol consumption have concluded. The prosecution was represented by the Novovyatsky district prosecutor's office.
The defendant was a 20-year-old local resident who already had a criminal record at the time of the offense. As established during the hearing, in March of this year, the young man involved his 14-year-old acquaintance in regular alcohol consumption over three days (from March 16, 2026, to March 18, 2026).
The actions of the Kirov resident were classified under part 1 of article 151 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Involvement of a minor in systematic consumption (drinking) of alcoholic and alcohol-containing products, committed by a person who has reached the age of eighteen). The defendant fully admitted his guilt in the committed act.
The court, having studied the case materials and taking into account the totality of mitigating circumstances, agreed with the position of the state prosecutor. As a punishment, the defendant was sentenced to 240 hours of compulsory work.
The verdict has already entered into legal force.
