Rospotrebnadzor has limited the time spent working on computers during lessons.
For students in grades 1-2, the total duration of computer work should not exceed 20 minutes; for grades 3-4, it should be 25 minutes. For grades 5-9, the limit is 30 minutes, and for grades 10-11, it is 35 minutes. These norms are contained in a document from Rospotrebnadzor, which was reviewed by RIA Novosti.
Children under 10 years old are allowed to use an interactive whiteboard for no longer than 20 minutes, while those over 10 years old can use it for no more than half an hour.
The document also stipulates the mandatory implementation of eye exercises when using electronic learning tools—during classes and breaks. When working with regular textbooks, eye exercises should only be done during breaks.
